Pinnacle Training

I was wondering what the training was like for Pinnacle. I was told it was around 2 1/2 months but beacause of upgrade training they sometimes get delayed. Do they have you hang out in memphis during this period or are you allowed to return home at any point while waiting for the next phase to begin?

When you're in ground school, you will only have the weekends off. You can go home if you want, but it is on your own dime. When you get to the simulators, it's a little different. The schedule can be more wide spread. If you have at least 5 days off in a row, you can get a pass to fly home on Northwest. If it is less than 5 days, you can still go home but you will have to pay your way.
