That Des Moines to LGA flight that I've been doing every week lately
that has about 6-12 people on it, could sure use a real airplane. I don't think we need anymore 50 seats in this industry, but we are sure making use of the ones we have.
The line I really love is the DC-9 NWA jumpseater telling me before the flight how the 9 gets just as good a gas mileage as our CRJ. This is while we are flying from Flint MI to MSP with 10 people on board! He was quick to leave out the part about us having to be full and the 9 being full.
