Whaazzzzup?! :D

Does that mean you've finally escaped, too?

Dayum, there's hardly any of us left over there. That's GREAT to hear, too!

Hope you enjoy your new digs! You need to come to Nashville sometime, maybe Brother Hunter as well, make a mad-crazy weekend of it!

HEY!

That's Captain Di*k to you... ummm... wait a second. No, it's not anymore. ;)

Yeah finally escaped. I was chipping away daily with a spoon I stole from the catfish cabin and finally dug a tunnel out of Shawshank. Yeah I think I'll enjoy the new digs. Here's what's scary...I flew with SP on 9/11 and you the first day back after that sh*tty day. Thanks a lot. Now I'll remember both you a-holes for the rest of my life.

everyone is escaping, and with staffing heading south.. more will leave just to get some days off!

sadly... I still can't get out of this dump... Never thought I burned that many bridges... I am going to start charging LOR before I rep any more... maybe with a 50 or more (1 months work at 9E) I can get out...

real sad part... what's it been Rich? 2 years? and you still piss peeps off;) could use you here to rid some backsides in negotiations

A lot of us are leaving, but I think that all these arguments about what is happening is proof that we care about this place. I know I do

What and Why I like about my Jobs......

Tank Commander: Kill things, blow things up. What I could not kill or blowup, I ran over, and the hot chicks.
Pilot: Fly airplanes, bars and tequila on long overnights, and hot chicks.
neither job did I make a lot of money, so I made sure that I blew a lot of stuff up, drank a lot of tequila, and met a lot of hot chicks.
Simplicity. It's a beautiful thing.

Now that's what I like to hear. Making the best of a bad situation... LOL

If it paid more, you could honestly claim "Not a bad way to make a living".

Don, send me your resume, I'll be happy to walk it over to SG. Saw her last week in the office with FP going through resumes for interview calls, they do it every week.

And it's only been a year, if you can believe that. My 2nd year pay kicks in pretty soon, WOOHOO, back up to 2nd year CA pay at PCL. Pay cut sucked a bit at first, but MAN what a difference in my outlook on life.

Shawshank is a good as place as any to compare to PCL. ;)

Wow! A "senior captain"... no wait... a "very senior captain" told you? You can take it to the bank then I guess.

Wait, do all companies include their "very senior captains" in aircraft purchase plans, or is it just Pinnacle.

Read the posts on here and you'll know that it's all the pilots at an airline that get together and buy airplanes, negotiate code shares, and decide where to fly them.

Only a year... what you have missed since then... now take a moment and shed a tear.. wait.. nah... why bother!

PCL has outlook... I don't know what it is, but they are sure peddling it on Nonconnah!

Nope. But I trust my source. Go ahead, ask Wake if he ever had his truckers attempt to unionize. Ask if they were successful. I double-dog dare you.

Ok, moron, I took you up on your dare. Called the man today. He was involved with two different trucking companies. Drivers at BOTH companies were organized by Teamsters. One company had been organized since the late 40's before he was even born. The other was organized the year it was first formed around 1981. Accordin to him, he negotiated the second company's contract. Both were based in Memphis.

You will never change, Rich. When people disagree with you, you attack their integrity. Just pathetic.

BTW, your faith in arbitrations in endearing. Unlike yourself, the VAST majority of our pilots, particularly the reserve guys, loved the comp day and extension LOAs. I guess the majority is all wet, again, because the great one himself, RM, disagreed. Most of us are incredibly glad we don't have to hear you gas on in the crewroom.

And the moral of the story is, when people disagree with you, you go on personal attacks and mud-slinging from behind the cover of anonymity?

Case in point.

Can't you simply debate the topic without resorting to insults?

Glad you talked to Wake. I'd be interested in talking to some of the guys that worked for him and see if THEIR point of view is that benign...

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Guys like you are WAY out of touch with the membership. Most of them are angry at the way the MEC handles a lot of things, not to mention the lack of communication.

Sorry you don't like that, but read through the PCL threads here again and take a count of how many angry people there really are.

I didn't realize how miserable I was there until I left. This whole last year has been like one big vacation! I actually love my job again. :D

Good luck to ya'.

I am going out on a limb. Have skipped the first 6 pages of this thread to page 7. (I see we have gotten side tracked as always!)

In response to "Pinnacle to fly CRJ900 for DAL" (I truly hope there wasn't an official announcement that I missed, but like I said, I am not going to read 6 pages of crap), I know a little something that would make that extremely unlikely. Maybe they will fly 900s for somebody else or actually fly a couple for DAL, but they are definitely not the "900" operator.

(Actually that is pretty funny..Pinnacle will not be the 1 900 operator.) I still say Comair which is why I voted NO!

Again, I know you cannot make definite statements in this industry. Anything can happen. But, even if there was a Pinnacle announcement about them flying the 900s for DAL, I would go so far as to say DAL is trying to back out of it and place them elsewhere.
