Has anyone seen the CRJ700's sitting in Montreal with the "operated by pinnacle" on them?

Or what about the ERJ170 sitting in Memphis.

Whats up at Pinnacle?

There is no E170 sitting in Memphis, and as far as the crj 700 with operated by painted on it, thats a new one, but I would have to say its just a rumour. There would have been some type of announcement from Bombardier

Where are you hearing this stuff from???????

It must be sitting next to the ones painted for Great Lakes, Mesaba, and Pan Am.

friends

Got a friend at Pinnacle, he swears the E170 is coming. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

I love the flame bait from someone that looks to have a ton of experience in the industry.

Do you need more seniority to bid those lines as opposed to the "dude, we're hitting houses" lines?

I was talking about the painted type lines, not bid lines.

I was just going to say the same thing... We've had CRJ700 lines painted in the area where the "stables" were for a lllloooonnnnnggggg time...

I had a friend tell me that he saw 20-30 CRJs paint in NWA colors in Tucson....hes not one to lie to me. Has anyone else seen them? My answer to him was maybe there were XJs that they never ended up getting.

I was is TUS last week. Over on the south side of the airport was a ton of IDE's CRJs. There were also a handful of CRJs painted in NWA colors in the middle of all the others. Probably less than 10 if I remember right.

Those are the CRJ's we have in "permanent storage." Used to be parked in MEM and TYS.

I'm going to paint an A380 stop line at the gate in TYS and see how quickly a rumor spreads.

Planes in The Desert

The Planes in long term storage have been returned to the leasor never to return again (per doug shockey). Uncle Phil is telling recurrent classes in memphis that if NWA wants us to fly the CRJ 700 then we will refuse, but if it is the 170 then we will finance the planes ourselves. I dont believe this guy on either account. Pinnacle is a whore company that will do what NWA wants when NWA wants with or without Lube, and apparently according to our web cast the other day we are not even competetive for the bid to keep the flying we currently have soooooo with that being said, I am willing to wager that these ghost 700's or 170's do not even exist, if anything I would bet they will be operated by Sjet.

OMG

typical BS from management who wants concessions from employee groups.
First, as you said, Pinnacle will NEVER refuse something that NWA tells us to do. Also how do we go from having the lowest block hour cost that they keep bragging about to "we are not even competetive" for our current flying?

I'll take anything that management says with 1/2 grain of salt.

If that's true, it's the funniest thing I heard all week. Refuse flying because of the aircraft type....please.

If 9e gets offered any of the 76 seaters (hopefully NW pilots vote NO), I would be inclined to believe they will be CRJ 705's or similar due to rapid aquistion time and ease of transition (plus bombardier will porbably give a good deal).

Then SJet might get the EMB's so that they are more attractive to sell off in a year or three.

Hey what ever happend to the FedEX E170 flying that Pinnacle was going to do? LOL, I think we will be lucky to keep half or fleet the way it is, and I hope to GOD we dont get 70 seaters!!!

XJ still has all of our Avros on its ops certificate..funny, i thought they were gone to france of something.

Don't know how up to date this is but PNCL's 11 saabs were taken off our certificate and they left in late january.

of course. summer is fast approaching and this bs is dragging out to where the replacements won't be able to be delivered and put on line in time. Something has to pick up the summer traffic. Come on we just can't give up any market share even if it means keeping it at an operating loss. DUH!

Now that's a great rumor. wish I started it.

Almost as good as the one about XJ flying 747 combis with 69 seats on the upper deck!
