But I'm NOT!

We are also looking for some quality individuals to work here and unfortunately I have not found the type of pilots that I am looking for and this is the reason why we continue to advertise. The pay is good for the area, 35-37K for of FOs and 60-66K for our Cpts. The schedule on the Lr-60s is decent with 1/2 the month on the road and 1/2 off. The Lr-31 crews have been working a little harder due to the new plane but by the end of May we will have 2 Cps and 1 FO for each plane and they will be able to work out their own schedule amongst the three. Some of the postings say something about an asst. chief pilot that we don't have. I am the Chief Pilot and I have never offered to send paperwork to anywone that I did not hire. Our aircraft and the maintenance on our planes are impeccable. We do everything with regards to safety first and there has never been a time since I have been in my position that I have told a pilot to do something that they did not want to do or ask them to fly an aircraft with a squawk that could not be deferred. Yes we have been going through some growing pains but our aircraft, facilities, and people that we have now our second-to-none.

Flybet3 said:there you go.... yeahh...you're not Pinnacle Air services material.

Brett Hull said:But it's good for NW Arkansas. He said it himself.Heck, making $60K a year there will buy you 100 acres and a nice tractor, and the girl with three teeth and the 1980's big hair will be falling all over herself to get her hands on a rich pile-it.

Note the. I was being sarcastic. I fly into ROG frequently as my company does business with the Devil's spawn (Sam's). I know it's a pricey area.
h25b said:Just moved from there and I can tell you that 60K is doesn't go nearly as far there as in most other parts of Arkansas. Property values there are skyrocketing, the traffic there is worse than in many metro areas, and I don't think you can purchase a decent home anywhere in Bentonville for under $110/sq. ft.
And yes, 60K for a Learjet 60 Capt. is pathetic, PERIOD... Even for Arkansas and especially for NW Arkansas.
MVSW said:I can tell that you guys are not from Arkansas. FYI..I have lived in Arkansas for 24 years and the only nice place to live in Arkansas is NW, Central, and NE ARkansas. Everywhere else is a DUMP. I will get off my soapbox now. Its just makes me very upset when people bash AR and acts like everyone here is poor, never wear shoes, have not teeth!! I want to know where the heck everyone comes up with this crap! Take care
