Pinnacle to hire 60 FO's by the end of the year and upgrade 30 capts!!!!!!! New hires will be mostly mesaba furloughs.

I was there awhile back, they definately payed for my hotel plus I think 400 cash per week or something. The money sucks but for where I was back then it got me through and you get to drink a ton of ********************ty beer for cheap while training....you'll see what i mean when you hit the gas stations.

this is still the case...and the union will have a couple cold ones waiting for you at the meet and greet party...

Until I see a vacancy, I refuse to believe it. And as for newhires, will these furloughees start at the bottom of Pinnacle all over again as first year newhire employees? No integration of any sort yet, correct?

Right now, I don't even think they can afford the lost staffing to buy check airmen off for interviews, much less sim instruction. Then again, they probably haven't even thought that far ahead. It'll get start training, buy the guys off to do the sim training, and they'll scratch their heads wondering why we're suddenly short CAs in MEM. Must be the "unplanned absences" spiking again....
