hey Sluggo & all you other air FARCE goons:
This is what every Navy pilot thinks when he's behind the boat:
"If this $hit was easy - they'd let the air force do it"

There. I said it.

Doesn't anyone here read their AIM anymore? If someone had, they'd have posted the correct air-to-air multicom frequency of 122.75 by now

Thanks Aerro! Cheers! 122.75 and 122.85 are both correct air-to-air freqs by the AIM. Now, if I could just remember what that other book had in it... I think it was called the F-A-R or something like that?

This is what every Air Force pilot thinks when he's behind a Navy pilot gunning his brains out (again!!):
"If this guy spent as much time on the tactical skills instead of where he sits on the greenie board maybe he'd put up a decent fight..... YAWN - Tracking Kill."

Oh Yeah....

Meanwhile...the AF guys fly past the boat on the way back to the big concrete runway so they can make their tee-time and knock back a few brews at the O-Club and say, "I'm glad I don't have to do that.":D And just to keep things in perspective, I have a realtor friend that constantly tells me that "if real estate was easy...everybody would be doing it." I usually respond "yeah...that real estate is really brutal."

There...I said it too!

Not condoning the flippant use of the emergency freq, but are you one of those "Guard Police" that yell "You're On Guard" every time anybody says something on the frequency? They are more annoying than the original offenders.

I call them the Guardstapo.

Didn't the Indian Air Force own our boys in blue not too long ago? Maybe the whole "F-3, kill every airplane west of the Mississippi" tactic doesn't work after all.

We could never get the Air Force to meet us for some "training." Any talk of roe would usually be followed by a "what hotel are we gonna stay in and do they have a Starbucks near by" discussion.

See ya at the crud table! You bring your scarf...

;)

If the brass wants F/A-22s bad enough they'll tailor the ROE to fit their needs. 'nuff said there.

You obviously weren't contacting the right units. Last time I wore a scarf was 1988 when I didn't know any better.

" This is the Colombian Airforce Hot Air Ballon Interceptor Squad to unidentified Boeing 747, you must call or be fired upon by our Marlin 22."

Thats pretty funny, I just wished I would have thought of it first

Get lots of traps during your 105 hours of T-37 time?
