The point is.... if the staffers "feel the pain".. what does that accomplish?

All it accomplishes is it makes YOU feel better.

The logic is.... I won't be happy until everyone else is miserable like me....

The staffers are working hard... cutting pay and making them feel pain isn't going to motivate them anymore....

Finally, if you want to be smart about it... it isn't staffer salaries... its ALPA managment salaries....

But once again... pilots like to infight rather than focus on those causing the problems....

Make a choice....

You can work (fight) for change with...

1. management
2. gov't
3. fellow pilots and union
4. 1 and 2

I choose four. But it seems management does a great job getting us to fight each other...

So can ANY rj pilot and also any major FO. So whats your point? And you ask why staffers should share in the pain? Well how about the fact that ALPA's revenue source(pilots) is down thanks to fewer pilots and utterly atrocious contracts!

Yes, but staff can do the same job for more money somewhere else. If you lower the pay, they will just leave and the only thing you will have accomplished is to make ALPA less capable.

It's not the staffs fault we have bad contracts, it's the pilots (that voted them in, didn't show up to rallies, don't support the PAC, vote for anti-labor politicians, etc etc)
