This is real simple to all ASA pilots.

Don't listen to anything ASA mgt. says or writes.

When Tutt or anyone holds a meeting or talk how about no pilot shows up. That will really get their attention. Just walk by one of those meetings. When you show up and listen it just gives them a chance to try to change your thinking and that is all they want to do.

When you get a letter about the contract throw it away. Don't read anything.

When you listen or read anything mgt. has to say you give them "power".

It is time to really let you MEC speak and listen for you.

You have a choice and I have found ignoring mgt. works the best.

Do you really think they have anything you want to hear "uhh, NO!!".

New slogan " I ignore ASA management".

Know your enemy

It's great that you are so passionate about this cause, but why would I not want to get the whole story. If I do as you request and ignore mgmnt I am only getting what is fed to me by ALPA. I believe that you cannot make an intelligent decision on anything thing until the whole story is put in front of you. If you are truely that dedicated and have already made your decision, a meeting and some Flica letters aren't going to change much.

I will hold my decision until I have the ballot in my hand and the whole story.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly...

Get it all!

Don't listen to anything ASA mgt. says or writes.

This is going to get you where?
If I were you, I would find out for my self what all the options are.
You are only hearing each part of the pie that management or ALPA want you to hear. Listen and find out the rest!
THEN make up YOUR own mind as to what action you need to take.
Seems logical to me!!;)

Why would you listen to anything management has to say? Tell me one good decision management has made to better ASA. How much crap has been fed to the pilot group over the years. You say you want the whole story, do you really think you are gonna get anything resembeling the story from management? You are kidding right? ASA management is only out to better themselves and and if you think anything less you are fooling yourself. Why aren't they offering to take pay cuts, where are their efforts to "keep ASA competetive", is it by asking for concessions? CT and SH were brought in for the short term, to do exactly what they are trying to do, get concessions and molest the current contract. The beatings and BS will continue.

Jeht, The questions that you pose to me are great and need to asked to mgmnt at the meetings that are being held this week for them to answer. Why not ask them?

There is only one BIG problem with this idea. If no one who disagrees with them show up, the only ones that WILL show up will be the Kooters and his kind. That will make management walk away with the idea that the pilots DO agree with them. I think that everyine should show up and hammer them with hard questions. Not expecting answers, but show them what they are up against.

A few weeks ago SH and CT were trying to go into the lounge on C to have one of their "talks". 2 members of the CNC were there, and SH and CT would not go into the lounge while the CNC guys were there. If they are not lying, or at least bending the truth, why wouldn't they be happy to go in and have a debate with the CNC? Seems to me that if they have nothing to be ashamed of in their proposal they would invite an opportunity to talk and challange the CNC in front of the pilots. Instead they hid in the CP's office.

I was hoping the CNC would attend CT's little circus and ask questions. Maybe they did, dunno. I do know that when I JS I ask the Delta crew if they know CT, and they basically just shake their head, say yeah, we know that slimball, and that he's not trustworthy.
