Me and a friend of mine were talking the other day what about a union with only Airmen certificate holders(Pilot's,Aircarft Mechanic's and Dispatcher's). No F/A,no ramp no csa. You have to be a card carrying to be member of the union? any thoughts
 
Lumping all these groups together is a bad idea. There is the potential for a conflict of interest when negotiating with management. For example the union could say that the pilots will give this if the mechanics get this. It is bad enough having the major and regional pilots lumped together under ALPA. To be productive each group needs individual representation. No strings attached.
