So what happened to the both of them?

At Eagle, anyone caught swinging a punch, even in defense, is automatically canned. Probably not to smart to do it in front of witnesses or security cameras.

Not true. One ORD capt got beat up by his FO a few years ago and the FO didn't get canned. We also have a female FO who threw a flashlight at a Captain and then last year took a swing at a captain. She is still here.

You might get canned initially but the union will get you your job back.

I never understood arguing with a mechanic. It's simple. "Hey, this is broke, it's in the logbook. Let me know when it's fixed." If it gets pencil whipped, write it up again, this time at the outstation. Problem solved.
