Flying can improve aspects, but overall? No, probably not. Take multi-tasking for example. If you choose to change the station on your radio while driving, you might be able to split between the two tasks, but you also have to speed up your reaction time because your attention span percentage is reduced from driving. Flying doesn't improve your reaction time enough to make you a safe, multitasking driver. It's mainly a question of when it's safe to multitask and when it's not. I've seen my fair share of horrible drivers and believe that genetics and how you were raised determines your driving record.
