How long does it take to upgrade at PDT? Will this new flow-through agreement speed things up for first officers there? Would you bother waiting or just go to another regional airline after getting more flight time?

...

First off, dont ever make plans based on some pie in the sky flow-through. Next, its such a crap shoot with everyone, the best you can do is close your eyes, pick a place thats based out of where you live, go there, and hope for the best. It seems like doing research on a company doesnt even matter anymore, because what you found out to be true that day wont be true the next day. Just fly out of where you live, thats it.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie
pop?

I agree with JonnyP about the flow-through, the best way to think about this is to believe it when you see it. Now to answer your question, I think upgrades are in the ballpark of 5 years...right now. This could change at anytime though. For now just take care of all that stuff the training dept. sent you and upgrading will take of itself...eventually.:D

That is true, I should secure my spot in the right seat first! Just curious though...
