Is Piedmont in the CASS system? I am trying to jumpseat on Piedmont out of LGA, and i am not working for them.

Yes, they are CASS. But the Dash can barely hold 34 people, let alone 37 plus a jumpseater. The -300 could take a jumpseater, but I don't think they operate the -300 on any flights out of LGA.

There are a few -300 flights next month, back and forth to PHL and LWB. if you are going on PDT, check the loads. If the flight is booked to 33 or more, better have a good back up.

With PDT's ridiculous staffing problems and continuing maintenance delays and cancelations, you might want to have a backup anyway.

Just got done working 6 days in a row! Each airplane I flew had Inop stickers all over them!! FO's are leaving faster then they can train new ones!! They Hire 20 new FO's 9 get thru training, and then you got 12 that quit! Unless they get us new airplanes (won't happen) and a new way to get people the show up and get thru training I don't see this place making it till the end of the year without parking planes!!

And to top that US Airways is giving us 1000 more hours of flying in May!! This should be interesting!!

I think I am gonna get on the phone and try and get Capped out on Junior Mans. Its gonna get scary later this year.

There are also some LGA-BUF flights that have 300's next month.

How do you guys find this stuff? I look and can't find nothing. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just can't ever find these things.

You aren't kidding about the maintenance issues... I have flown very few airplanes with "clean" logbooks recently. They aren't getting any help from me,I write the stuff up wherever I find it, no matter what time it is or where we are. That's the only way they will learn... If then.

Nah, we are just slowly transitioning the AA "bare metal bad as$" finish. Of course, I'm not sure how the patches of bond-o are going to look that...
