Hang out here for just awhile longer!!! Then pack your bags and head west to Denver and enjoy flying the Q400's for Frontier Airlines!!! Pay will probably suck, but whatever!
This is gonna be funny to watch Piedmont lose half, if not all its FO's in 2007!!!!
Good Luck and Denver Rocks!!!!!!

Scott Q.!!!! This is your chance bubba!!!!

Way to support the downward spiral, chief.

Wow, this will be prettttty bad, seeing that a lot of folks already commute from that part of the woods. Get ready for some serious juniormanhandling.

If your with the US Air Express division then your already at the bottom.

LOL, and if your a WO'ed well!!!! Don't get me wrong, Piedmont is a good company. I would put our working contract up against anyone in the industry. But flying tired a$$ Dash 8's that are over 20 years old that just about baked everyone this summer and with no upgrades or future insight for new hires!! I don't blame anyone for trying to get out of here and too a place flying Q400's with some movement.
If US Airways doesn't announce anything good for Piedmont by the end of the year, I can see a butt load of folks bailing out of here.
I can see them (Piedmont) now hanging out at FBO's waiting for the ink to dry on some young guys commerical multi ticket so they can put them in class to get some 121 time... lol! Those will be the only folks we get here..... sad, just sad...

Toe the line! Don't sell out! F the SJS guys, they're whores! They show up, take the flying, and get paid squat... Geauxjets, Mesa, all the rest- bottom feeding opportunist trolls.

... unless you work for Piedmont and feel entitled to so much more at another carrier. Ignore all of that whorish mumbo-jumbo, and just turn away when you have to face either a QX (I have no idea why I said QX here, but it stays for the reprisals forthcoming) or F9 crew and the spectre of stealing flying. It doesn't apply to you, prospective prop gods... because you're special.

F that shyte! I'd rather work HERE, taking flying from nobody, and living the way I do than sell out- run, ya scabby beyotches- run and lose that one thing that separates us from the whooerrs... I doubt you'd miss it anyway.

Sig,

I really do have to admire your principles about this. I think I would feel the same way if I hadn't resigned to the fact that I hate this career.

Bull feces is ambulatory, as you know.

But seriously- it seems to me like another end run from the Satanic Book Of Airline Management... JO, HK, etc. I need to read more about it, but it smacks of management sticking it in the gicker of somebody without even asking.

If we do get the 400, we'll probably get shipped out to Phoenix to fly it!

As long as they are not like the old HA airplanes without a big gasper up front, and have an APU and ac to push good air out of said big gasper, bring it on! I would not miss the NE corrider and the never-ending flow control into Philly a bit.
