That I have no idea. I was in PHX last week and saw 3 in AWA colors, so at least 3...;)

I believe that the Dash part of the contract for PHX is up next year. If that's true, those 6 will probably be going east to do DL flying.

The T-Prop agreement between US Air/AWA and Mesa ends in 2007. According to the press releases earlier this year, all 12 Dash 8s that will be flown under Delta colors are incremental flying.

If anything I'm sure Mesa will move their AWA Express Dash 8s over to the UAL side. They already have a bunch flying in and out of DEN. IAD might be needing some Dash feed.

Now we wait for the next contract expiration in 2011 (50 seat AWA feed), and lastly the 2013 expiration (90 seat feed).

So there might actually be a chance that Piedmont to get some growth to replace Mesa's Turboprops out west next year if they don't renew Mesa's contract.

Only if current contract language is changed. Which could possibly happen if J.O. is bought out of it.

Mesa has express feed exclusivity to PHX in all of their contracts. So, until 2013 no other airline feeding US Air/AWA can even land in PHX.
