i talked to a certain guy in the traiinng department and asked about what they are doing for the sim eval. make a 360 degree circle, and then get vectors for an ils approach. nothig fails of course, and they (training department) could care less what speed you put the gear out at, or the flpas. all they want to see is that you do put gear and flaps down before you land.

So what you're saying is that those of us with potential interviews with PDT should consider looking elsewhere?

The bottom line is that there is absolutely no incentive for anyone to come and work here unless he wants to gain a few hundred hours of turbine time and go to Shaneekwa. Now I'm stuck now bc I'm 3 years deep like so many others and there is no movement whatsoever. So yes, look somewhere else....and no I'm not trying to be negative...just realistic.

100 days free of aircraft damage in PHL

Anyone else notice how good the free food was today in PHL? Even better than the Thanksgiving spread. Ribs that fell off the bone, sweet corn on the cob, and chicken. It was dang good.

Figures they would have good food in PHL on a day when I am NOT there. Instead, I was poisoning myself with that swill they call "food" in the LGA food court.
