Scene: Florida department of motor vehicles; "Hi, I'm an illegal alien and I need a driver's license." "No, I don't have a permanent address and I've never paid a dime in income taxes to support anything in this country." "However, I'm entitled to a driver's license so I can drive a car anywhere I want since you're obviously not going to arrest me for not having a visa, passport, or any other document that I'm already not entitled to have while I'm in your country illegally." "Thank you very much." "Can you tell me where the nearest law office is? I would like to drive over there and get a free lawyer to sue for an illegal alien pilot's license, too."

My apologies in advance, guys and gals. My sense of outrage has made me post something here only because I know it will be read by a logical, thinking group of people.

From Fox news 3/1/04; Conservatives balking at President Bush's proposal to grant illegal immigrants three-year work permits are floating a counteroffer that would hamper his efforts to woo Hispanic voters in November's election.

I think we should keep this message board dealing with aviation related issues -

If 'illegal' issues concern you then you might want to go this link: www.fairus.org , basically call/write/fax your congressmen.
