I am looking for the link that had some dude in a flight suit and helmet checking the oil on a C-152. I think also a pic of him in the cockpit

Someone is using that picture as their avatar, just cannot remember the handle name. The thread/link was removed by this board when the person in question didn't like the publicity of being the center of attention.

According to a bunch of my friends who were at NIFA Regionals at Salinas, CA and had asked the USAFA team first-hand, yes that's true. Also, they still use the original props and can overspeed in level flight.
