Does anyone know exactly how many people showed up and "volunteered" to work for free that day? Inquiring minds want to know...

The number I've heard was around 100. Out of 50 or so upper management (VP and above), about 7 showed. Lakefield was at his home in Naples, FL.

You can read about the grief in person at www.usaviation.com, and goto the USAir forum.
