Sucks that companies are throwing out their pension plans. Not only in the airline industry but also in the automotive world as well. I live in MI so I've seen it first hand what happens. Sucks that companies won't honor their agreements and take care of their employees....any way
What are the requirements for the pilots at your airline to recieve benefits after they retire? is there an age or longevity requirement?
What airlines have the best 401(k) set up?
Do you have a retirement fund set up outside of your company's plan (like an IRA) in addtion to the company's contribution?
