Its PenAir, not Penn Air. Sometimes we hire direct into the Caravan, but only with Alaska time. You do not need an "Alaska address" for any jobs. PenAir does require 500 AK time for PIC slots, but not for the SIC positions. It looks like we are hiring more SIC and then putting them into Saratogas after they get a little time. It is very rare for anyone to be hired directly into anything other than the PA-32. In 135 we fly the PA-32, PA-31, and C208. Many days we fly all three in one day. You are not assigned to one specific airplane unless you are new and then you only get to fly a Saratoga.
