Seriously, is this day 1 at private pilot groundschool? There are other forums for fllight training students to talk. This is a professional pilot forum, sorta. Oh who am I fooling, it's the regional forum. Play on kids.

Says the one who's worried about the line used to p/u his ex.

I agree. I was at PDT for 2 years. The best thing and the only thing I miss is the crews. How long has the last captain been at PDT after the downgrades? I hope you all the best.

It's time to evaluate what you really want. For example:

I live east of Salisbury. The Eastern Shore of Maryland is a haven for the backwater, uneducated, toothless mouthbreathing scum of this continent. Add in the wonderful value of "Biker Week," and you'll have a group of folks that I pray all die in head crushing accidents, such that their dirtbag bodies can be harvested for organs.

Wait- what was the issue?

I'm over it. I truly am. This festering cat box where HQ is, a place where the poorest man is the tooth fairy, needs to be shut the fawk down. I thought folks that considered the earth to be 6,000 years old were a novelty to be graciously ignored an laughed at in private. Here? They prove that not much has happened in the past few million years.

Enough about management; don't get me started on the locals...

5-6 years. At one point last year it was down to about a 3 year upgrade, and the 3000 hr TT requirement to upgrade was a problem looking around the corner.

Judge them based on their forum 'friendliness' and I judge you based on your lack of intelligence.

Don't feed the trolls! Jesus. That gibbering tool can't even hack it on an Enhanced Replacement Jet, regardless of whether he has a spine or not. Even if Toilet Duck is incisors deep on this guy, disregard.

The able pilots will abide.

Troll or no Trolls

Hell... I'm not feeding the trolls. Working for a regional airline, they have enough trouble feeding themselves. Anyone who goes by the screen name "Jar Jar" can't be taken very seriously anyways.

I just did a quick calculation. If they don't find flying to replace the LGA flying we are going to lose in 2010, the most junior captain will have a mid-2000 hire date. If they are able to find extra flying for half of those LGA aircraft, we will have a mid-2001 hire date for the most junior captain.

That is based on my guess of 8 crewmembers per aircraft, and losing up to 15 aircraft as stated in the company newsletter.

I remember those days!! We really enjoyed hanging out with you guys in ROA!!! And, you're right. It was the people who made Piedmont a great place to work. And, I think the same can be said regardless the airline you work for. We are in many sense on the same boat after all.

How far back for the F/O's does it go?

So Bob's RJ's aren't comming?

There's a bunch of good folks at PDT. Good luck to all of them. This is a ruthless industry.
