Dashboy, getting treated badly during the interview would have been the tip of the iceberg on being treated badly at PDT. PDT has an awful mgmt team an no true leaders. Hell, their headquarters are in a 50 year old hanger with cubicles. The leaders they do have are ex-military yes-man line-dogs who know nothing abut mgmt or leadership or occupational leadership. The training dept is atrocious, two senior instructors just quit the company, and dealing with scheduling and their constant persistant abuses will ruin your desire to be any type of airline pilot. The company destroys the contract - because they can. To the others out there, do yourself a favor and choose another airline if you have that choice. If jets dont arrive, you will never upgrade. Jets most likely wont arrive. Some pilots and most of the Union leadership believe the jets are on the way down from Canada right now. Not quite. Somebody has to fly little **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**-ball legs that CCair and others used to do, PDT.

I worked for PDT over 2 1/2 years ago... Back then they thought jets were coming too... I remember the sell job during Indoc of CRJ's under the christmas tree... Then again they never did say WHAT year it would happen....

Questions I have is... where are all of the Captains going? it is not like there are ton's of opening's these days...

The same sell job came along when the vote came down for concessions. Everyone was told that if we voted for concessions, (1) jets were gonna drop into the PDT system overnight, (2) everyone was gonna be part of the restructuring. Only 44 voted no. In the concessions the "no furlough" clause was wiped out, 8% pay concessions, reduction in medical. Since then, no jets, 10 dashes to the glue factory, both FL bases closed. Great deal huh?!
From CHO alone. 2 outright quit the airlines. 3 went to ATA.

It's a good thing that you were not hired. That type of treatment is probably indicative of how you would be treated as an employee. Better to stay away. Seems like CHQ and Comair are hiring - get a jet job and expand your horizons.... View what happened as a mixed blessing...
