You guys had RJ's all along and didn't even know it! :)

The pilot, however, was not able to steer the jet back to the terminal.

The airport shuttled the 36 passengers, bound for Roanoke, Va., back to the terminal. Piedmont Airlines is an operator for US Airways Express. The plane was a Dash 8, described as a smaller regional jet. -- Clay Barbour

Bad couple of days for trying to get to ROA. Winds were gusting to 52 today. The early afternoon flight from CLT sat it out for a while.

had a PDT hydraulic failure T/O in front of me back in the spring out a CLT. The famed fluid "inside the cabin" fun fest. Was not surprised for "some" reason...
Any lawsuits come out of that one???

anyone hear of the 4 brake fires in one week recently? i guess 3 were in clt and 1 up north. thank god for those brake temp gauges!!

it gets a little bit of jet thrust from the exhaust... They probably knew no one would read the article if it was about a prop...
