Thanks for the reference. Wasn't in a place to read the contract. Must have glossed over that.

How else are they gonna get planes to heavy maintenance and paint?

You're kidding, right?

Piedmont airplanes means Piedmont seniority list pilots fly them... Period. If you lose that, everything else in your contract is meaningless.

I'm not kidding. And it's not right.

How do you think all those planes got to the desert. Piedmont pilots didn't fly them there.

PDT is so short on pilots that they can't even cover revenue flying. If they can't cover the revenue side how will all the non-revenue flying be accomplished? Farrow picks up the phone and calls a crew leasing company to fly the planes to mx and paint, that's how. Maybe it wasn't a paint contract in negotiations that was delaying the paint recently, but a crew leasing contract negotiation.

Is it wrong? Yes. Will it continue? Yes.

Go for the management jugular and put a stop to it.

It is Farrow's fault for not planning ahead and hiring enough people...

I say tough sh!t Steve.

Well it just looks bad now since we are so short, it's like a slippery slope mgt is taking to fix a problem they've been procrastinating for a while because they are so reactionary and ignorant....more double premium flying and right seat captains, now contractors...it doesn't matter if they've done it years ago; should they be doing this...no
