You wouldn't be the first one to suggest that!

Realistically though, property taxes aside, a house that costs double SHOULD not double your living expenses...unless you have an abnormally high percentage of your income going towards a mortgage.

Unless food, gas, beer and everything else is double, I just don't see it...of course I'm relying on math...and you know me and math...or maybe not.

Maybe I'm wrong.
 
Here is a gouge for those of you who think you know it all. Check out the salary calculator. Find out what it costs to relocate. Last two relocations it saved me the failures of listening to someone elses bad intel, including salary requirements. Go ahead, prove to yourself that Manhatten is a bit more pricey than Hotlanta.......
