If I am ever witness to an obnoxious drunk assaulting, threatening, or otherwise interfering with a flight crew I will try to ensure he gets a trip to the hospital before he gets booked.

And if he goes toward the flightdeck making bizarre comments about the government ... only one of us is getting off alive.

I hate to make an example out of someone, but it needs to bedone. "Up to" 20 years? How about AT LEAST 20 years? With all the sh*t that's been going on, I'm surprised more hasn'thappened (as far as sentencing people).

But you're right, he'll get off with 3-5 plus parole and time for "goodbehavior" (I never understood that one - he's a criminal...how "good"can he be?)

My former boss is flying for free this year on SWA because the guy sitting next to him on a recent flight was drunk. The guy was so hammered he peed in his pants and it leaked over onto my boss' seat. Meanwhile, I'm getting stripped searched because I bought a one-way ticket.
