Had a guy on a sightseeing flight in Alaska who insisted on riding shotgun in the Navajo. With empty seats in back, I tried not to put people up there, but whatever. Got done with the flight, and was signing Arctic Circle certificates for the passengers, dude whips out a logbook and asked me to sign it. He was apparently going to log two hours of Part 135 SIC time in the Navajo.

Lovely. Just freaking lovely.

Something tells me if that douchebag is that dumb, he probably logged it anyway. In fact, he probably recorded it as PIC with you as his "safety pilot."

Those are the types that also log total and multi in a simulator.

Beautiful.

British Airways

When i was a kid British AIrways had the Junior Jet Club. THey had a small
log book that you got filled out by the Captain when you were on a flight.
Now they are collector items because of the "Historical" value of some of
the Captains that were flying the airplanes. Some were very decorated
WW2 pilots. Anyway it can't hurt to have kids begging and pleading
to their parents to fly a particular airline. Maybe if the marking departments
didn't sell tickets based on price we would all be able to make a living.
