I beg to differ, the money is great. Buying content is ok if you just want to be 'in' the business. But if you want to be original and actually take your ideas to the next level and brand your company, you must produce original stuff. Original content production is the way to go, and it is not a lot of work.

And yes people still pay for porn, during this recession the numbers have increased around 11% as people turn to 'home entertainment' instead of going out. The biggest opportunity as I stated in my earlier post is content production.

That was more of a rhetorical question. As in, it's amazing to me that people still pay for porn when it's so readily available at zero cost.

Haha, ok gotcha :) most of the free stuff out there is either pirated or promo stuff put out by prod companies to promote their movies. Production companies look at the pirated stuff like a PFT'r, why is somebody gonna pay when they can get it for free.

Just found out my company put our a/c on the market so let's see where this takes me!

I just posted this thread under "employment openings," but I don't think it will get many views there. I know there are some hungry F.O.s out there, and thought this might be good opportunity for the right person.

I know that it can be frustrating looking for a side job as a pilot. As a regional F.O., I worked part time as a substitute teacher, loan officer, (failed miserably) at financial planning, and even delivered pizzas. I was pretty much willing to try anything, if I thought the work would be worth my time. It was hard to manage both jobs, and I yearned for something I could do on the road.

I'm not trying to get into a philosophical debate about whether a professional pilot should be able to make a livable wage. I just wanted to put this opportunity out there, in case someone was looking.

"Aviation Science" doesn't even count as a degree....

Those clowns at ERAU toot sunshine up each other's butts all day, but they have nothing like an actual college education.

Doubts?

The future of aviation is scary indeed!

Does your company allow you to pick up open time on your days off? Do the math, often 1 day of work on premium pay is worth more than a week of working at target. Don't do something stupid like have 2 bosses.

...The whole idea of these past few posts are AN absolute SAD representation of our entire PROFESSION..........
