Out-of-the way places you have flown to

Well, let's see here...

I'm not a frax pilot either, but some desolate places i have been to are:

Rock Springs, WY - The armpit of the earth.

Stowe, VT - It's only fun in winter and you have to like to ski.

Seymour, IN - WWII Air Force base turned industrial park/GA airport. Not too much there but the pilot lounge is nice.

Sidney, NE - The only redeeming quality of this place is that Cabela's sporting goods superstore will come pick you up from the airport.

I've been to Muskoka, Canada. This place is beautiful. Just us and the beechjet and a lineman were the only things up there. Kenny G came flying in with his beaver. Got to talk with him for a while.

Park at Providence RI...Hooters is right across the street, and they serve GREAT wings.

Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. What a beautiful place to visit for a day! We flew there in a Metroliner out of MIA. The best part was the 3/4 mile final landing to the east. Anything outside the 3/4 mile final is communist airspace. I wasn't real comfortable with the tight right base turn, but 15 minutes later a C 141 landed followed by a 727.

I'm a regional guy, not a frx guy, but can I play too? Bangui, Central African Republic, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and my personal favorite Bata, Equatorial Guinea... Such nice tropical places......
