Local TV(yeah, I know) said he was trying to chock the nosewheel and slipped on the ice. Why he was that close when it was still moving, I can't imagine unless he thought he had to chock it to stop it.
 
America West AC901 (Arizona colors) is also known as the "Ramper Stomper" due to the two rampers it has run over...no one killed luckily.
