Mickey Mouse, et al
How about the babes on "American Bandstand?"
With all due respect to our member and my friend, SkyKing, the original "Sky King" of '50s "Songbird" fame. I loved how he started out flying a Bamboo Bomber and upgraded to a 310.
There was a TV show during the '50s based on the "Steve Canyon" comic strip. The show was named, appropriately enough, "Steve Canyon".
"12 O'Clock High," starring Robert Lansing originally and then Paul Burke, was a wonderful series during the '60s. Yeah, they used the same aerial combat camera footage again and again, but the stories were riveting. "12 O'Clock High," the movie, starring the late, great Gregory Peck, was similarly riveting.
I, too, was there during that era. Yes, I have received AARP mail.Flylo said:Here's a couple that you "kiddies" may have missed:
The greatest set of "ears" that ever graced a TV screen;
THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB - 1955-1959
ANNETTE FUNICELLO
