The CRJ is a plump, shapeless, squatty lump. Don't get me started on that awful nose and ridiculous cockpit windows. The engines...who was the genius who designed those ugly things? Good grief, did they run out of cowling material?

The Avro is even fatter than the CRJ. It looks like one of those super-deformed Japanese models of a C-5/C-141/C-17. It's a caricature. Utterly ridiculous.

ERJ all the way, though frankly, I think the Dornier 328 turboprop is better looking than any of the RJs.

I know I'm biased but here goes nothing:

1) CRJ-700 and 900 (Gorgeous lines)

2) EMB-145XR (Winglets really look good on this airplane)

3) EMB-145LR (Looks better on the ramp than 50 seat CRJ's)

4) EMB-140 (OK looking)

5) CRJ-100/200 (If it had longer gear, I'd put it in 2nd place)

6) Bac 146 (It's not THAT ugly)

7) EMB-135 (Too short. Looks like a Business Jet)

8) Do-328 jet (Looks like a turboprop with jets. Plain Jane)

So far from insult someone here but does someone think that camaro Nash Bridges uses in his series is ugly?
Come on on the 70's and 80's everybody knows what was a beauty car or beauty bird not a computer autocad draw.
72's are also top of the list with BAC111's.

I belive the car was a 'Cuda (MOPAR not Chevy). It was recently sold to a private buyer.

I believe it was a 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. (It may have been a 1970 model, but I can't recall the headlight configuration.)

The car they used for jumping was a 318 car (W/B issues) with lots of reinforcement of the frame. Unlike "The Dukes of Hazzard" where a jump destroyed a Charger, they rebuilt/repaired the jumping 'Cuda every time it needed it.

'Cudas are cool, but the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with a 426 Hemi is the king of all cars. Alas, I will just have to be happy with my 318 car...but I can dream. :)

Stinkbug

Thanks for pointing out my error
edited it to say Little loud...so is
the old DC-9, the original regional
jet, and far better looking than
anything mentioned yet except the
Convair and Concord...but they
aren't rj's...and the cockpit of the
-9 aint loud, so who cares!

CRJ for sure, especially the CRJ700...just something about the look of the wrap-around windshield that does it for me. Of course it's my first jet, so I'm a little biased (in the same way as the King Air C90 is my favorite turboprop because it was my first).

ALL rj's are uncomfortable to ride in, ALL rj's are slow(speed bumps are more useful), and any jet you need headsets in might as well be a turbo-prop. As for looks, ALL rj's are as homely as the wives of those that fly them.

The SF340 is a **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** good looking AC. The CRJ is definately the best looking jet...ESP in USAir colors.

When this Regional Jet Boom came about I am sure alot of people said to themselves, "Thank God!! now I can hang up the David Clarks." NOT!!

I do like the CRJ700. That's a good looking plane.

The Convair 990 was a P.O.M.S., do the research. It never flew as fast as Convair said it could and it burned more gas and took fewer passengers than the 707/DC8. A complete failure. Pilot's liked it thought, because it had LOTS of power compared to other jets of the time.

Oh yeah, I like the DoJet and the Avro. I'm a sucker for high-winged airplanes.

Ok guys the most beauty airplane ever is ....
Covair 990M Coronado and also the fastest ever among the subsonics Mach .99 as MMO and cruise at .97 and if you guys don't know what I am talking about you don't know anything about aviaition so the top 2's Concorde first and Cornado second because aviation is about speed and the talking about lucy liu I know her personally she use to go in a bar in nashville that I worked and she not that good but I would mess with her anytime she wants hehehehe.

GOD bless all
You guys ever heard of run-on sentences and punctuation down there in good ole' Nashville?

Ok as far as Im concerned from a pax perspective CRJ is the best, ERJ to to dang cramped, atr cant comment on, arjs look nice and are ok but the 2-2 in the cr2 is the nicest.

Im not happy with the CR7 at all, feels cramped and the widows are high BUT 6 inches forward.......

erj junk jet is hideous.....pencil d1cked looking thing,
horrible interior too, unless your a circus midget that packs lightly
ugh and that apu, could that thing possibly make a more annoying noise?

well that's what you get from an aircraft constructed by rainforest pygmies

at least brazil produced somethings of value ie; the 'wax' and, those wonderful bikini's which of course go hand in hand
That horrible noise is the packs, not the APU.
