How can I get in touch with the officer recruiter for the San Diego area? I searched google and the yellow pages but found nothing dealing specifically with the recruiting of officers. I would like to avoid the enlistement recruiters because it seems as if the only thing they have to say is "sign here," or "you have to enlist before you can be a pilot."

For the Marines You can call any recruiter's office and ask for the number to the recruiting district headquarters. That is where you can speak to the officer recruiting dept.

Just call any Navy recruiter in your area... and ask. "Hey where's the nearest Officer Corp. recruiter?"

If your interested in the Marines, search for a USMC Officer Selection Office (OSO). They're usually located near a university campus.
