Please, for the love of God, do not use a word unless you know what it means. You sound like a moron, the word is LITMUS, a LITMUS test. See below
litmus test
n.1. A test for chemical acidity or basicity using litmus paper.
2. A test that uses a single indicator to prompt a decision: "
At least he preferred Mary-Anne to Ginger. Good Choice !!!
I dont think the F/A's had the authority to open a sealed Comment Card and may have a little time off themselves. It sounds as if they were a little overzealous. Sorry. The Captain made the best decision he could at the time, I just hope it wasnt influenced a F/A with a chip on her/his shoulder.
The note was pretty comical, but I dont see it as threatening. The guys going on vacation too, account for all of that.
AHHHHH yes I know I missed the TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Now to get back to the point that sailed over your head!!!!! Ever notice when a lib hates what you say they call you a name instead of dealing with the point?????
Maybe, but try explaining why you continued a flight that the FA's emphatically warned the crew that they had a problem with a passenger and were concerned that he could jeopardize the safety of the passengers. Somehow I don't think saying ''sorry I continued the flight despite warnings from the cabin crew, I think FA's are bit nutty so I decided to continue on anyway" Now compound that if something does happen enroute like the passenger in question gets physical with someone and hurts them. Now you are liable for ignoring the warnings you got and probably in serious trouble with the FAA and the company.
Fortunately, we have some pretty high caliber Flight Attendants at Hawaiian and most are very professional and level headed. So it's highly likely if they are truly concerned, there is probably a real problem going on.
Hey Dan don't miss the point of what I am saying about F/a's in general. I am glad you have a great group at HA, I wish we all did but there is always that 10% or in some cases 20 to 50% that are crazy as hell. I would also hate to try and explain why I turned around to the Chief Pilot on the word of an over reacting melodramatic F/a. I was simply stating it would be a tough call, but not judging the actions of this crew in this situation. Cheers and tail winds to you and yours!
