How can NWA start thier own regional? They would have to get the aquisition of new airplanes approved. Do you think all thier creditor would be happy about money being spent when they aren't getting paid?
No but one of the many holding companies can start another regional. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't MAIR trying to get out of the XJ scope contract. If they do, I think MAIR would be the lowest bidder on the new flying. Our leadership said from day one that 9E would remain intact and XJ was as good as gone. XJ has a avro fleet nobody wants and the saabs can be RFP to someone cheaper.
