Agreed, I was talking to 4 NWA flight attendants who were jumpseating on my flight today, and they said that they were ready to strike today, the whole "we are not doing it today because of the terror plot" thing was not true. They said that management is just waiting to see if they will break. According to these 4, they say that they will strike on the 25th.

I also had a mesaba jumpseater on that same plane who is based in memphis flying the avro, even though there are no avro's there nor do any come through there. The company deadheads him to msp or dtw and then he works.

What a criminal act this whole thing was. Throw Steeland and Mair in Jail!!!!!
And while you are at it, take our management too.

They are ready? So is NWA.
The worst thing that could happen to unionized labor is if NWA is able to pull the one, two punch. With the unity within the F/A's I'm sure very few will cross the line. And if you want a beverage in an Asia- Pacific flight after they call the strike, you better learn how to ask for it in Chinese

Float like a butterfly, strike like an FA

Hey, Ali, what's the "one, two punch"?

Speaking of punch, "Hey, how about a nice Hawaiian Punch!"

I think he might be talking about replacements like they did with the mechanics. I don't see it working this time. There is way too many Northwest Flight Attendants to replace in that fashion. The NWA flight attendants are just about as pissed off as the Mesaba employees, and I don't blame them. What has been going on should be prosecuted for fraud. That is exactly what these two management teams are attempting, to defraud the employees out of a livable wage, then turn around and take a huge bonus..........I call that fraud.

Amen Brother! NWA and Mesaba management are spending millions on lawyers and accountants to attact labor and ultimately make millions themselves on bonuses and stock awards.
