Let us not forget that they also had a captain show up drunk in MSP this past year.

If you want to throw mud how about the Mesaba captain that liked to molest little kids or your chief pilot who had been forging his medical certificate for years?

Everyone has thier F*ck ups. Get over it.

That's why I wouldn't say that all of you are imperfect and all of us @ XJ are perfect. Good points, though. It sounds like you want to sling the same mud that you accuse me of slinging. Way to stoop.

Pilots never cease to astound me with their arrogance and attitudes. Simply amazing.

I can't wait to get back to work so I can work with all of you "professional" pilots.

This industry is a joke.

Cathal,

Some of the events that took place with our crew members happened OFF the job.. Some happened on the job... They are no different from the nudie SWA crew to the bar hoppin America West crew to some "stupid" antics other crews have done in the past. It really has nothing to do with hiring standards as EACH company has the same crap. BTW.. the crew asleep one, to my knowledge was a really, really good rumor...

Personally, our "mud" is our problem, don't need to air it out and make it a focal point. We are not perfect, but we do stand together and we do stand together behind our brothers and sisters over at XJ.

Regardless, the problem does lie with how ground operations are run. About 18-20 months ago I remember sitting in DTW watching the Saab's to my left and right get parked, then unloaded, then they would get to us.. That is if another Saab did not show up. I still wait one in a while for a gate that a overloaded Saab is sitting in because I cannot be given one of the other 8 open gates.

Gate agents are a mystery in DTW too.. Some agents work 2-3 gates at the same time. one flight just a bit late screws everything up.

Having 3-4 rampers for a 4 gate block does not work well either.. Just pull the bridge, shut the door, let me get paid and they can take their sweet time.

Bottom line, us flight crews are in the middle, we can do very little other than whine, and we already do a good job at that. We are the end result of mismanagement that starts at the very top and ends with the ramper...

Lonnie's getting sexed up by his cell mate, the Bronco Buster.

That had to suck big time...some poor airline captain is knocking on a hotel room door bearing flowers and chocolates for his newly found internet sweetie while sporting wood, then the door opens up and a bunch of cops pounce on him. Dohhhh!

Watching you guys go back and forth is like watching a tennis game. But this one was an ace. LOL

Nice one Doin Time, this come back comes close to crossing the line, but just barely stays inbound.

Well, I heard that the instructors at PCL like to molest the new-hires from GIA - so there.

This is sweet! "You suck! No! You suck!" Let's face it all, NWA and their attitude toward running an airline is to blame. That's why NWA will never be an SWA. It's not in the blood of our leaders to do what's right. I was pleased to hear that our leader, J.S. was impolitely yelled at by a rampie while throwing bags in MSP this last week. Talk about SWEET!
