Its kind of hard to say this profession is in trouble with a straight face when you can still afford vacation homes down in florida. People like me are actually saving the industry. If everyone was all HOOAH and wanting to go strike for nothing like a tard there would be a lot more people on the street.
There are 2 kinds of pilots, those who have taken their paycuts and those waiting to take paycuts.CaptainMark said:That's right!! some invest wisely...and i am paid to operate a 375,000 lb jet around the globe...like i said u will never know what it is like to be paid a real wage for the job u do..so continue to enjoy your weak wage and let management run u into the ground for 40 bucks an hour, be dead before 60 with no retirement to give your 10 kids..sounds like a trouble free profession to me..moron!

Delta your up next!!!!!!!!!!!
Occam's Razor said:Hey! There's an idea!
What kind of rep should I be?
The babbling kind that claims to know what pilots want...yet seems to always be on the short stack when the votes are counted? That kind?
Or should I be the kind that stands up to the minority screamers and delivers an agreement that, as distasteful as it is, is ratified by 2 out of 3 pilots?

It seems as though you are out of touch with those traits and what it takes in order to be hired by Fedex. If it makes you feel better about yourself to say others were just lucky, knock yourself out.

Not a rant.
A fact.

i cant believe it?!?!? old men gave up money, so they can hold a job for 4 more years. thanks guys, it really helps us all out. you know what screw all you mainline guys. you should be leading the fight, but instead you are the ones screwing us all. fine job, fine job!!!
Our airline is losing money and we can still negotiate, your airline is making money hand over fist and you guys can't negotiate. Don't blame mainline pilots for saving their jobs, the airline had to cut costs to that of SWA, and that's exactly what they did. When the next low cost airline comes in we will cut our pay to their level. Welcome to the era of deregulation, eventually we will be making nothing. As far as I see this contract is a victory, since it holds onto the past a little longer.mnalpha said:wow,
