CoATP said:Pilots have voted to walk if Ch 11 imposes contract. What happens to the regionals? How about those on probation?
JoeMerchant said:So almost 10% didn't vote, and then almost 10% voted NO. Not very impressive if you ask me, especially from "Cobra" Airlines. The chinks in ALPA's armor continue to show...
FDJ2 said:Actually it's an incredibly good turn out and sends a strong message. The NWA pilots have drawn a line in the sand. NWA management will now be seeking an extension in order to actually negotiate in good faith. Good for the Red Tails.
"... Northwest pilots voted to authorize their union leaders to
call for a removal of service by a 92.16 percent margin. Over 90 percent of
the pilot group voted (4,413 votes were cast out of an eligible 4,851). ..."
JoeMerchant said:Well, no it isn't. 20% not voting yes isn't that impressive for a radical group like the "cobra" NWA pilots. It will be more than 30% of the DAL pilots who don't vote yes. ALPA is having it's roosters come home to roost and most of you are in denial....
You need to do some research on an airline before you make ASSumptions.JoeMerchant said:Well, no it isn't. 20% not voting yes isn't that impressive for a radical group like the "cobra" NWA pilots. WOW,..

Wow, That's an amazing leap of logic.

When management attempts to impose non-union sanctioned Scope violations, pay cuts, or QOL rule cuts.Mav204 said:If the judge rules in mgt's favor, when will the strike happen?

Bosley said:Hey JB, why don't you save your anti alpa rhetoric for your circle jerk meetings at the rjdc! That is an excellent turn out and shows solidarity. But what more can we expect from a rjdc puke such as yourself! Shouldn't you be busy storming out of ASA mec meetings with the minutes so meetings can't continue!
PCL_128 said:You should probably be more concerned about how your recall vote is going to turn out. It's on the way, Johnny! How are you going to get your rocks off if you can't storm out of meetings anymore like a spoiled little girl?
General Lee said:Great turn out and vote numbers. I believe we will have the same at DL, and if the NW pilots force their company to actually negotiate, then that may even help our turn out even more. NW still has most of their senior pilots hoping for some sort of a pension, and you would think most of the top 25% would have voted NO to preserve that hope. It didn't happen like that. Most of our senior guys that could get a large pension or part of one got their's and LEFT THE BUILDING already. Our current senior guys are around 49 years old and are pi$$ed. We only have 250 guys left over 55 years old. (out of 6500) Good luck NW pilots!!!
Bye Bye--General Lee
