The rest will be new hires off the street with a MAINLINE SENIORITY # when hired, not a "guaranteed interview" like Lear 70 suggests.
Can you quote the section of the T.A. that supports YOUR "suggestion"?

Yes and no. From the SJ summary:

  1. • Furloughed NWA pilots have the first right to the jobs at "SJet", but will be on a separate seniority list.
  2. • There would be a "flow up / flow down" between pilots at "SJet" and NWA, including new hire pilots at SJet and NWA. The flow up / down would be subject to metering limitations.[FONT=Times New Roman,Times New Roman]

Exactly my point. No "guaranteed seniority number" in there at all. More to the point, item 1: " ... BUT WILL BE ON A SEPARATE SENIORITY LIST."

That to me says it all. It'll be kept separate, they have no interest in integrating the seniority, and I betcha money that when the final T.A. language is public, the "flow-up" will require an interview with Northwest.

We'll just have to wait and see, but given how Northwest likes to screw people, I see a real doozy of a screw-job coming on with this one.

Love the Avatar 81....

You've just described working for the mainline.

Careful what you wish for. ;)

...is that the Mosquito?

I believe there is one as a static display in front of the air museum in San Diego at Balboa Park.

I believe the plane blew up during the demo for the military and that was the end of the project.

The pant are nothing new....

You didn't see the T/A section about uniforms? The new uni trousers will have the zipper in the back.

....they have been selling them at the Stop-Over store for years.
