Barry Simon was just hired by NWA. This guy is a hatchet man. He was heavily involved with Lorenzo and Texas Air. He was involved in the bankruptcy and liquidation of Eastern, both Continental bankruptcies, and UsAir bankruptcies. I can only speculate that he was hired to threaten bankruptcy at NWA to gain concessions from employees. When will mgmt. learn that threatening employees will not do any good for the company and employee morale.

Well, you guys intially gave us Terry Erskine, who tried to work us over many times. Thank Gawd Grinstein canned his arse. Good luck with your future negotiations. It looks like the "AA Method" of going down to the wire with your stock only valued a $1 and running towards the courthouse steps might work for all of us. They broke the code......

Bye Bye--General Lee

I don't know that AA is exactly home free just yet in spite of what they've done so far.

This is SOP for NW. Richard Anderson was also the chief counsel at CAL before coming to NWA and even though he is taking a position at another company he will remain on the BOD at NWA. These guys are all part of the same club.

Most of the past / present Management has ties to CAL in some way or another. This guy is very talented & highly recruited.

The pilot deal will be done before he moves into his new office.
