It'd be nice if they had just ONE fact in this whole news piece.

"Delta Orient?"
"A380?"

C'mon. Give us something to work with!

Michael Boyd is a fool. He's the Rush Limbaugh of aviation.

Curious, I thought he was more like Bill Mahr. You know, not really funny, even though he thinks so and so full of himself it's hard to get in the same room with his head.

delta orient will be really popular considering most asian people consider the term orient a racial slur.

Deltanorthinental?

But seriously, the most likely name of the new company is Delta Air Lines.

That would be "oriental," not "orient."

Yep, "Orient" worked well for Northwest for 40 years. They only dropped it in 1986 after the merger with Republic. They felt it slighted their European service.

I recall flying out of Kimpo (K-14) in the 1950's and looking down the Hahn river valley toward K-16 and seeing a couple of Red Tail DC-6's or 7's proudly sitting there on the ramp. Looked good amongst all the devestation.
