Is there a movement afoot to replace NWA mainline gate agents with agents from NWA affiliated regionals? Heard something about that at my local airport and been noticiing some new faces at NWA gates in Mem. Thx.

By end of this year, every outstation that NWA serves that doesn't have 40 (or 50 not sure) departures a week will be converted to a vendor (ATS/swissport, or others) or NWA regional partner, i.e. Pinch nickel or Mesabi..

If you commute on NWA, plan to be there earlier, and start bringing your own JS form, cuz most of them have no clue what JS means to you, and certainly don't have time to help you get on.

The only station that will stay belong to NW will be the hubs, plus a handful, i.e. SFO, LAX, ATL, BOS, LGA... it's sad to see my friends lose their jobs. Mgmt would rather hire 10 new guys for 7.50/hr with no customer experience, than to keep 3-4 guys that at least know what they're doing, but having to pay them benefits...

OK guys, I know that we all like to push buttons on here once in a while, but when you start the personal attacks aginst other members, and for gods sake, their wives, you will get kicked...no exceptions.

Guys, now that the thread is cleaned up....please get it back on track.
