Wow

WOW! What a surprise. (Read with sarcasm) I never would have guessed that would have happened in a million years! Now watch. Now that NWA has all of their labor groups under miserable contracts and have completely busted the mechanic's union, ticket prices will go up, revenue will go up, there will be unprecedented profits and mgt will make a fortune. Meanwhile labor is stuck with POS contracts for a lonnnnnng lonnnnnng time. Gotta love this business.

They are running short on crews already and with what's planned, things are going to change very quickly.

Of course, if fuel goes to $10 a gallon, then all these great expected profits might -- well be just like the contract.

and soon you will have more post than you do flight time

one thing I did hear is that NWA is going to require the FA's to work between 75-100 hours of flight time per month under the new TA. This was apparently to avoid all vacations being cancelled in the coming months.

NWA is so short on FA's from Furloughs and walkouts that they can barely cover their reserve lines and flight schedule together.

Also, part of what NWA is trying to do is their new Low Cost Carrier Compass, is going to be flying CRJ's and they want to use NWA flight attendants for those flights and pay them a third of what they make on the mainline flights when they are on Compass routes..
