Affirmative action has zero to do with it. These Fa's on most the good trips got hired from 1966 to 1980 and never left. The same union laws that keep you in their job keeps you in yours.

They should be allowed to hire women only if they want (no homos please) and they should also be allowed to determine who is too ugly, fat or butterface. Why is the euros can do it and we can't? Have you seen the F/As on Air France, Virgin Atlantic or Ibera? I have to change my pants when they walk by.

It's not that extreme for me. But my pants defintely fit funny when they walk by.

Dutchman

Thanx for the pics... I am FeDexing u the job applications right now. I am in lub. Holly cow those girls are HOTTIES...

I bet that the first thing they are told in ground school is "Be aware of pilot's with alligator smiles."

DAMN!!!!!!!!!

Their making pretty good money though back in the old country (Holland) at KLM.. A senior cabin f/a makes around 50K euros I think (which is what about 60K USD right now?)... Don't think they would love to give that up, and on top of that move to another country :)... I'll make sure to ask her though next time ;) I agree that we need some changes over here! :D

pilot payscale is pretty dang good to... A 21/22 year old 1st year cruise relief (long haul) pilot or Fokker 50 F/O starts out with around, 50K (US) and capt top is about 310K (US).

So maybe you should consider going there!! Las time I flew back to the old country on KLM I flew with this former NWA guy who told me that in the earlie 90's several guys from NWA went to KLM and a few guys from KLM went over to NWA... sounds like a good deal to me, for a change of scenery. With 42342342 NWA/KLM flights between MSP/DTW/MEM and AMS you could even commute if you would want too.

Dutch, 40 NWA guy's went to KLM during a furlough in the early 90's and only one stayed(Frenchman). No pilots came over from KLM.

They got to keep their sen.# ?? good for them, that's a sweet deal. Hope they had a good time, and I'm happy for them that they got their jobs back over here.

take care.
