NWA Emergency Landing?

I heard on the radio today driving to work, that a NWA airplane made an emergency landing a small airport in Michigan, but the guy no the radio gave on details other than a fire in flight and a crew of five and 70+ pax. DC-9?

NWA DC-9s only have 2 FA's (I think). Crew of 5 wouldn't have been a -9.

Some have less than 100 seats, some have more...so a crew of 5 is likely.
