There's the sad truth. Lower labor costs for pilots who are flying the same DC-9 routes.

Of course, the E-170 does have less seats.

Hey MJ42, just ask this jackazz, he doesn't want to go, he has is better where he is. I'm sure he is well liked there and I know I don't want him at my airline.
Let him stay where he is and rot. I'm sure his job offers a much better career than any other.
