I had an interview and I cancelled it. The HR woman thought I was on crack. I told her nicely that it was unprofessional to interview for a job I knew I wouldn't accept.

There's the sad truth. Lower labor costs for pilots who are flying the same DC-9 routes.

RA also said last week 100 less 50 seaters soon, and DC-9-40 and -50's will be around until at least 2012 depending on oil. Quote is hanging up in DTW bulletin board.

Compass flies DTW-YVR?! Thats a long flight on an RJ.

I'd rather be in a coach seat of the E175 than the DC9/A319 any day of the week. I'm sorry, but the E175 is VERY comfortable in coach, and much better than the DC9/A319 coach class.
